We are about to embark upon a new calendar year, one that will be looked upon with optimism for prosperity, good health, and peace throughout the world. For the Freemasons in the great state of Ohio, 2018 is bringing renewed enthusiasm for the fraternity and a greater respect within the craft for our veterans. Our Grand Master Eric R. Schau has a caring desire and, with careful plans, hopes to recognize and honor our Masonic military and service veterans by placing a memorial at the following Ohio locations: National Cemetery Rittman, National Cemetery Dayton, the Ohio Masonic Home Browning Campus, and the Ohio Masonic Home Medina Campus. Each location will be adorned with the beautiful monument depicted above.
For any project to be successful it requires support, and we are hopeful that you and your lodge will be a part of this historic undertaking. You can do your part by informing your members of their opportunity to contribute to its success and by encouraging your lodge to be a sponsor of this project. Every donation is tax deductible according to the 501(c)3 Charitable Donation guidelines. All checks should be made payable to the Grand Lodge Charitable Foundation with Veterans Projects in the memo line. Donations are not limited to the monument program; any proceeds that exceed those needed for the monuments will be retained and distributed to support Honor Flight and other future veterans projects.
