Masonic Home Honors Village Lodge’s Generosity

Masonic Home framed print presented to to Worshipful Master Victor Matthews by brother Jesse Pertee

Brother Jesse Pertee presented Village Lodge a framed commemorative print of the Masonic Home “Castle” in recognition of the lodge’s brothers generously donating over $1,000 to the Masonic Home Foundation this past year. Brother Pertee also presented an update on the home’s activity. The Masonic Home provides services for aging. More recently they have been focusing on in-home care, providing aging assistance in a way that allows one to remain in his or her home when possible. He also emphasized that the home is there for any age, giving an example of how they recently helped a 23 year old brother whose wife had been diagnosed with breast cancer. Information on how to donate in support of the home can be found here.
